Roland DaraspeBorn in 1950, Roland DARASPE lives and works in Macau, Aquitania, France. Master Artist, member of the « ACADÉMIE NATIONALE DES SCIENCES, BELLES-LETTRES AND ARTS OF BORDEAUX« , he is one of the most important contemporary French silversmiths. He creates objects himself from silver leaf, to which he gives its définitive form : softened, cut, folded, rounded, each item is unique. Wall lights, caviar spoons, boxes or vases, the lines are simple and the material enhanced by carving. Collectors and museums own his works, which are elegant, smooth and pure, inspired by plant and marine life. — in Ateliers d’art de France, 2011
